A man of presence seeking a woman of grace

I am a poet, a seeker, and a man shaped by silence as much as by sound. A former concert pianist who played Carnegie Hall at nine, I’ve spent my life listening for what is unspoken—between people, within music, and inside the soul. I hold nine patents on relationship dynamics—not as a scientist of love, but as someone who has lived its many forms. My life’s work is devoted to those in transition, offering stability and dignity to lives often overlooked. I walk through the world with reverence, humor, and an ache for what is both beautiful and fleeting. Now, I seek a woman of presence—not performance. A woman deeply feminine, oceanic in her grace, changing and rich with God’s truth. I’m drawn to Ethiopian culture for its depth, its reverence, and the strength in its softness. If your spirit moves with sincerity and your heart listens inwardly, we may already be speaking the same language.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
We meet without hurry—somewhere calm, maybe a warm café or a place with music playing low in the background. We sit by a window or beneath the open sky, dressed just enough to honor the moment. No rush. Just presence. We share a meal that tastes like care, not just flavor. The conversation moves easily—light at times, deep when it wants to be. Maybe we talk about childhood, faith, music, what we’ve lost and what we still long for. Maybe we fall into silence that feels full instead of awkward. Afterward, we walk a little. Night has softened everything. City lights flicker like stars trying to remember themselves. Maybe there’s a moment where our hands find each other—not for show, but because it feels right. And when we part, it’s not dramatic. Just that rare feeling… that something real just began.
Describe your perfect weekend.
It begins slowly. No alarms—just the light of morning and the quiet knowing that neither of us needs to rush. On Saturday, we find a beautiful place to dine—somewhere with candlelight, soft music, and food made with love. We dress for the occasion, not to impress, but to honor the beauty of sharing a meal with someone real. On Sunday, we stay in. We cook traditional food together—maybe doro wat or injera, maybe something from my side too. We move around the kitchen with ease, trading stories and smiles, learning each other’s rhythms. The spices linger in the air like memory. In between, we walk. We rest. We listen to music that moves the soul—Ethiopian, classical, whatever speaks truth. And when we talk, it’s not small talk. It’s about dreams, values, what matters. The weekend ends not with goodbye, but with a look that says: we’re just getting started.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
That presence is more powerful than performance. That love doesn’t need to be earned—it needs to be recognized. And that the deepest connection isn’t about being perfect, but about being real—and having the courage to stay that way. I’ve learned that silence can teach, music can heal, and the soul always knows when it’s being seen. And I’m still learning… how to listen better, how to receive with grace, and how to love without fear.
