Looking for a lifetime relationship

Please read my entire profile before writing to me. I am retired and leaving California in August. My main purpose in visiting this website is to find a lifetime partner. Are adults instant gratification beasts? YES. Most men and women are instant gratification beasts. Men look at ladies for the first time in sexual matters; Women look at men as married or money material. My grandmother told me she would rather be an old man, darling, than a young man fool. I was raised by both grandmothers in Oakland, California. Love is the greatest gift to give or receive. Yes, I learned from previous mistakes and relationships. There is no fun in going from lady to lady. Everyone wants something. Remember when parents stayed married for 50 years or more? How can we improve our relationships today? Some of you may say that it is a whole different subject. I am 72. I lost hearing in my right ear, and I have a cochlear implant. My oldest daughter died in an auto accident 25 years ago. I am a seasoned gentleman with education, lifetime experiences, integrity, respect, spontaneity, wit, active, caring, romantic, and sometimes just a big kid. I am open-minded and always curious about learning something new. You are always young enough to understand more.
